The triangle with "!" icon on the bottom right of the physical Home Hub's touchscreen is a warning indicator. The most common reason this appears on the "Ready for Setup" screen is a battery issue, specifically that the battery is not fitted, has a fault, or is not attached.
The three icons at the bottom of the hub screen represent:
- Signal bars (left) - cellular/network signal strength
- Gear icon (center) - settings
- Warning triangle with ! (right) - active warning/issue on the hub
If you're seeing this on your hub, check whether the backup battery is properly installed and connected. If the battery is fitted and the warning persists, it could indicate a battery fault or another hardware warning.
