Before getting started, make sure your organization has been created and has login credentials for the app.
Contact your System Admin or Access Account Owner if you have not received the activation email.
Follow these steps to complete the setup:
Onboarding
Download the Access Assure app from the App Store or Play Store.
Open the app once it has been downloaded.
Allow the prompt for Bluetooth and Notification settings.
Enter your email address and password on the login screen.
Read and accept the Access Assure End User License Agreement.
The login will be successful, and you can proceed to add a service user.
Add service user
Press the Add New Service User button at the bottom of the screen.
Fill in the client information:
Enter a First name.
Enter a Last name.
Select a Gender.
Enter the Date of Birth.
From the list, select any Pets.
From the list, select the Type of residence.
From the list, select the Living situation.
From the list, select the Type of care.
Select your Relationship to the client.
Add the ARC ID to the Alarm Receiving Center option if it applies to their package.
Press Continue to Pair Gateway or Save and Finish if you wish to set up the hub later.
The client setup screen will then close and you can set up the hub.
Set up the hub
Unbox the hub from the package and insert the battery.
Ensure the hub is at least 6 inches away from electrical appliances and in a location that offers a strong signal.
Plug in the power cable and turn on the power supply.
The hub will display the 'Startup Initializing' screen and it will take about 2 minutes to complete.
Once the startup finishes, the display will change to 'Ready for Setup'.
The hub is now ready to be paired with a service user and devices.
Pair a home hub
Press the Pair Gateway button from the service user listing on the app.
Select the Home Hub from the options and tap Start Setup.
Select Next and ensure that permission is granted for Location and Bluetooth services.
The app will start to scan the hub and it will take about 60 seconds.
Once the scan is completed, it will display the available Home Hub and its ID.
Make sure the ID matches the one that appears on the Home Hub screen.
Tap Continue to pair and the hub will show 'Linked' on the screen before starting to connect with the local network.
As soon as the hub establishes a connection with the local network, it will show 'Setup Complete'.
The Home Hub setup is completed and it will show the home screen now.
