Pearl II screen is blank

How to resolve a blank or unresponsive Pearl II screen, including powering on and restarting the device.

This usually happens when the Pearl II has no power, hasn’t charged properly, or is temporarily frozen.

The Pearl II doesn’t automatically turn on when it charges. Seeing the battery charging symbol on the screen just indicates that it’s charging, not switched on.

If you’re seeing a blank screen after charging, you’ll need to power the device on.

  • On the left-hand side of the device, press the power button.

Once on, the device shows the date and time on the screen.


Screen is on but does not respond

If your screen turns on but the device doesn't respond, you may need to restart the device.

  • Press and hold the X button for 15 seconds.

Your screen turns off, then when it switches back on, it shows the Oysta logo.
