The option to power off an Access TEC Care Watch directly from the handset has been removed.
This change has been made to reduce the risk of users accidentally switching off their device, which would prevent it from sending alerts or communicating with the monitoring service.
Powering Off the Care Watch
The device can still be powered off using one of the following methods:
Through IntelliCare
An authorised user can power off the Care Watch through the device’s Admin Menu in IntelliCare.
The appropriate user permissions are required to access this option. If you cannot see the Admin Menu or power-off option, please speak to your organisation’s IntelliCare administrator.
