● First phase of dashboard accessibility improvements
A clearer, easier dashboard
Your account menu has moved
Your profile, organisation switcher, profile settings, help guides, and log out are now grouped together under your avatar in the top right of the screen — one place, always in the same spot.
Collapsible navigation
The left-hand navigation menu can now be collapsed down to icons only, using the toggle at the top of the menu. Collapse it to give yourself more room to work; expand it any time you need the full labels back.
A redesigned Service User Overview
The Service User Overview page has a new look. Key details — gender, date of birth, NHS number, Service User ID, ARC ID, and portfolio — now sit together in a clear header strip. Care notes, today's activity, paired devices, sensor readings, and the Monthly AI Summary are organised into clean, expandable sections, so you can get an at-a-glance view and drill in only where you need to. The Latest Events panel has also been restyled, with clearer severity and status indicators.
Accessibility improvements
We've made a first round of accessibility improvements to the dashboard — including better keyboard navigation, restored focus indicators, improved colour contrast on status indicators, and text alternatives for charts and icons for screen reader users. This is the first phase of an ongoing programme of accessibility work.
Proactive, safer monitoring
Temperature alert rules for vulnerable service users
You can now set temperature rules based on WHO-recommended safe temperature thresholds, so you're automatically notified if a service user's home temperature falls outside the safe range. Rules can be set at whichever level makes sense — across a whole portfolio, or tailored to an individual service user — so you can catch and respond to unsafe conditions, such as during a heatwave or cold spell, faster and without checking temperatures manually.
Mobile app updates
Clearer alarm and alert notifications
Push notifications for alarms and system alerts have been standardised, so you can tell at a glance who an alert concerns, what happened, and when — with consistent wording across every alarm and alert type. This builds on the clearer Rule Alert notifications already rolled out across dashboard, email, and push.
