Overview

Access Assure V4.0 delivers a focused set of improvements across the platform — from a self-serve reporting capability that removes reliance on engineering, to significant UX refinements that make the dashboard faster and more intuitive to use every day. This release is about reducing friction, improving consistency, and giving your teams direct access to the data they need.

New Features

Active Hubs Report — Self-Serve Export

Admin users can now generate and export the Active Hubs report directly from the Assure dashboard. Previously, this report, which details all active hub devices across your estate, had to be requested manually from the engineering team.

WHY IT MATTERS

No more waiting. Admins now have direct, on-demand access to critical device and commercial data whenever they need it — reducing delays and removing an unnecessary operational dependency.

The exported report includes the following data for all active hubs across your organisation:

Column

Updated Help & Documentation Link

The "User Guides & FAQs" link in the dashboard profile menu now points to the new Access Assure help documentation site at help-accesstec.theaccessgroup.com. The updated help centre provides improved navigation and up-to-date guidance across all platform features.

WHY IT MATTERS

Finding help should be effortless. The updated link takes you straight to the new documentation hub, with better-structured guides that reflect the current state of the platform.

Search & Filter Improvements

Search functionality has been improved across all table listings in the platform, with consistent behaviour and better usability throughout.

Smarter Search Controls

• Clear button (X) on search fields — An X button now appears in any search field when text has been entered, letting you clear individual fields instantly without selecting all text and deleting.

• Auto-reset when all fields cleared — Clearing all search fields after a search automatically reloads the full list. No need to click Search again to see all results.

• Enter key triggers search — Pressing Enter in any search field now triggers the search, following standard form conventions. Keyboard users can search without reaching for the mouse.

These improvements apply across the following pages:

• Organisation: Users, Clients

Organisation Pages — Data Loading Improvements

• Auto-load on first visit — The Organisation Users and Clients pages now load the full list automatically when you first visit. Previously, users had to click Search before any results appeared.

• Data persists when navigating away — If you leave an Organisation page and return, your previously loaded data is still there. No need to reload or search again.

Visual & UI Improvements

V4.0 includes a comprehensive set of visual refinements across the dashboard, improving consistency, spacing, and readability throughout the platform.

Consistent Search Field Styling

All search fields across the platform now share a unified visual style — matching border colours, rounded corners, consistent 37px height for fields and buttons, and updated text colour using the standard secondary colour. The result is a cleaner, more polished toolbar appearance across every page.

Alert Setup — Visual Card Layout

The Alert Setup page has been redesigned from a dense table view into a card-based layout. Each alert rule is now a self-contained visual unit with a service-specific icon (motion sensor, door/window, kettle, microwave, and others) that instantly communicates what type of device or service the rule applies to.

WHY IT MATTERS

Rules are easier to scan, understand, and manage at a glance. The new card layout also displays a clear empty state message when no portfolio rules exist, eliminating confusion about whether content is loading or simply not present. The page title now reads "Portfolio Rules" to make it immediately clear whether you're viewing organisation-wide or individual-level rules.

Service User Pages — Layout & Spacing

A range of layout improvements have been made across the service user detail pages to improve visual consistency and make better use of screen space:

• Activity pages — Improved tab layouts across Timeline, All Activity, Temperature, Weekly Trends, Alarms, and Care tabs.

• Notes page — The toolbar is now wrapped in a styled white panel with consistent padding and margin, providing visual separation between the toolbar and content. Nested scroll behaviour has been removed for a cleaner reading experience.

• Info icons — Resized and repositioned for better proportion and alignment throughout service user pages, including the Monthly AI Summaries section.

"Move Portfolio" Button Update

The "Move to Another Portfolio" button has been updated to the shorter label "Move Portfolio", paired with a new reassign icon. The button is more concise and easier to identify at a glance.
