A Rio, Roam and Sentry devices can be powered on, powered off, and rebooted either directly on the device itself or remotely via the IntelliCare platform.
While these actions are typically carried out by Access staff on your behalf, they can also be performed manually if required.
Powering your device on
To power on the device, press and hold the top button on the left-hand side for approximately 2 seconds. The device will vibrate, and all three LED lights will flash briefly to indicate that it has powered on.
Powering the device off
To power off the device, press and hold both the SOS button and the power button at the same time for approximately 3–4 seconds. The device will vibrate, at which point you should release the buttons. The green signal LED will continue to flash briefly before the device powers down.
📌 Note: To reboot the device, press and hold the same buttons for approximately 5–6 seconds instead.
