Using external SIM

SIM Swap (Internal / External)

Your Home Hub has two SIM card options: a built-in Internal SIM and an External SIM slot where you can insert your own SIM card. You can switch between them from the hub touchscreen.

How to Access the SIM Configuration Screen

From the hub settings, swipe through the options using:

About → Power → SIM

Tap the right arrow on the Power screen to reach the SIM option, then tap the centre button to open the SIM configuration screen.

Switching Between Internal and External SIM

On the SIM configuration screen you will see a toggle with two options:

  • Internal — the built-in SIM

  • External — a SIM card inserted into the hub’s SIM slot

Tap the left side of the toggle to select Internal, or the right side to select External.

Selecting a Network Provider

Below the SIM toggle there is a provider button. Tap it to cycle through the available network providers:

  • Eseye

  • Mobius

  • Pelion

  • Vodafone

  • EE

  • OrangeSpain

Confirming the Change

  1. Once you have selected the desired SIM and provider, tap the tick icon to confirm.

  2. The hub will briefly display “Checking SIM” while applying the changes.

  3. If successful, you will be returned to the SIM configuration screen showing the updated settings.

  4. If the external SIM is not detected, the message “No External SIM detected” will appear.

To cancel without making changes, tap the X icon.
