Issue
The watch may occasionally display an incorrect time, particularly after being left on charge overnight or after spending an extended period indoors.
Why does this happen?
An older watch firmware used GPS to obtain and maintain the correct time.
When the device is indoors for an extended period, or is left charging overnight in a location where it cannot receive a reliable GPS signal, it may temporarily lose its GPS connection. When this happens, the time displayed on the watch can become incorrect.
This is a known behaviour and does not mean that the time zone configured on the device is incorrect.
How to resolve the issue
Please do not change the time zone setting to correct the displayed time. Changing the time zone may appear to resolve the issue temporarily, but it does not address the underlying cause and may result in the watch displaying the wrong time again later.
A firmware update has been released to resolve this behaviour.
The watch should be updated to firmware version V.157 or later.
Once the firmware has been updated, the device will handle periods without a GPS connection correctly and should continue to display the correct time.
What should I do if my watch is showing the wrong time?
If your watch is displaying an incorrect time - please get in touch with Access support who will:
Check the firmware version currently installed on the device.
If the device is running a version earlier than V.157, update it to V.157 or later.
If the watch continues to display an incorrect time after it has been updated to V.157 or later, please contact the Support team for further assistance.
