SIMs can sometimes come loose inside your device.
To check this, follow these simple steps:
On the back of your device, slide the back off.
Take out the battery, then ensure the SIM is in the device tray correctly.
Replace the battery, then the back of the device.
Power on your device and check that it’s recognising the SIM.
